Once a group has been seated at a table, each customer's order appears above their head. Serve them quickly and bring everyone the requested dishes and drinks before their patience runs out.
Read the orders
Each icon shows what a customer would like to receive. A customer may order a dish, a drink, or both, so check every icon before heading to the kitchen.
Serve the customers
Place the requested dishes and drinks on a tray or a food trolley, then approach the correct table.
Aim at the table and left-click. If you are carrying an item from the group's order, it will automatically be placed in front of the correct customer. Repeat this action until every member of the group has been fully served.
Once a dish or drink has been served, its corresponding icon disappears from the order display.
Keep an eye on the group's patience
The entire table shares one patience timer. It continues to decrease until the group's complete order has been served.
Serving only one customer will not stop the timer. Every member of the group must receive all the dishes and drinks they ordered.
If the patience timer reaches zero, the group leaves the brasserie and your satisfaction rating is penalized. Customers have less patience at higher difficulty levels. Customer patience can be disabled when playing on Easy difficulty.
Ask a group to leave
You can ask a group that is already seated to leave its table.
Aim at the occupied table and hold the interaction key shown on screen to open the interaction wheel. Select Ask to Leave. This action becomes available once every member of the group is seated.
Be careful: asking a group to leave lowers your brasserie's satisfaction rating and may result in a negative review. Only use this action when it is truly necessary.
Tips for efficient service
- Place all the dishes and drinks for the same table on one tray whenever possible.
- Make sure no drinks have been forgotten. A customer is only considered fully served after receiving their entire order.
- Prioritize groups with the least patience remaining.
- Fast service improves customer satisfaction, while taking too long reduces it.
- Try to prepare the group's full order before serving it. The patience timer does not stop after the first dish is delivered.
- Avoid using Ask to Leave simply to free a table, as doing so causes a satisfaction penalty.
