Preparing Butter and Jam Toast

Learn how to prepare perfect plates of butter and jam toast for your customers.

Follow these simple steps to prepare delicious butter and jam toast:

Knead the dough

Left-click the red button on your dough mixer. The fill gauge above the button will go from 0 to 100 in 2 minutes.

Prepare the baguette trays

Pick up an empty baking tray with the left mouse button. You can find them in the bakery fridge or on the service rack. Approach the dough mixer and use the mouse wheel to select the green baguette shape. Finally, left-click between 1 and 8 times depending on how many you need.

Bake the baguettes

Take the tray of raw baguettes to the bakery oven. Open the oven and place the tray inside with the left mouse button. Close the door, then click the red button to the left of the door to start baking. The inside of the oven turns red. Wait a few seconds and the baguettes are ready.

Prepare the butter and jam toast

  • Approach the service table and fill the plates. You can use either of these two methods:
  • Place the tray of baked baguettes on a service table. Pick up an empty baking tray and approach the table holding the stack of empty plates. Click up to 5 times to fill the tray according to your needs.

The roleplay method: Click the baguettes one by one until the plates are full.

The quick method: Aim at the baking tray containing the baguettes. When it turns blue, left-click and the tray of plates will fill automatically.

  • Remember to add one pat of butter and one jar of jam to every plate. You can find them in the small wicker baskets next to the stack of empty plates.
  • Store trays of butter and jam toast in the bakery fridge or on a service rack to preserve their optimal quality.

Good to know

  • A tray of 4 baguettes makes 8 slices of toast.
  • Every plate of butter and jam toast must include one pat of butter and one jar of jam.
