Waiters automate several front-of-house tasks. Their available work depends on the floors and task permissions set in the Employees app.
Configure waiter tasks
Select a waiter in the Employees app, then enable or disable the tasks you want them to perform. Waiters can take orders, collect prepared items, serve tables, clear dirty dishes, and handle supported billing tasks.
Prepare the service route
Assign every floor the waiter must cover. Keep access paths clear between the kitchen, bar, dish elevator, and dining tables. Completed kitchen and drink orders need a valid pickup point before a waiter can collect them.
Work alongside waiters
Waiters ignore tables or orders assigned for "PLAYERS ONLY". Use the tablet and Player Only controls consistently so the employee does not wait for work you intended to complete yourself.
